Search, navigate and more...
Use Sugarcodes to search and navigate the web! But there's a lot more you can do with them...
SearchWe do a lot of searching on the web and using Sugarcodes for your searches enables you to use virtually any searchengine on the web including
website's own engines. But even better you can do all that searching from one single search box! No hassle going to each website first.
NavigationI'm sure you are not searching the web all the time. Well, you can use Sugarcodes for navigation just as easily.
Any web page is accessible through a Sugarcode. Create a code for the destination web address (URL) and go directly to that page merely by typing the code... and pressing enter.
What else?Well, basically anything that involves an URL and if desired an input into that URL. For instance launching audio streams, translating text, consulting local weather reports, finding restaurants near you and much more!
Some examplesUsually examples clear things up. So hopefully these will do the trick:
gn bush
yt paris hilton ebay notebook wiki url
fn chicken bofa 90210
searches Google News for Bush
searches YouTube for videos on Paris Hilton searches eBay for notebook searches Wikipedia for an article on url
searches the Food Network for chicken recipes locates Banking Centers with zipcode 90210

Create codes yourselfFor your convenience we've already created a bunch of codes, but just maybe you're missing one or even a few. Don't worry, you can create them yourself in a matter of seconds. Click here to do so! |
FaqHow do I remember all these codes?
You don't. I'm sure you can, but you don't need to. While typing the first character(s) a list of matching codes will appear instantly (main page only).
How come I don't see my code there? In order to see codes created by users you need to select the check box Usercodes. You can also have both boxes selected. Will my code ever be on that list?It might. If your code is useful/popular we'll put it on the Sugarcodes list.
Tip |
Every code holds two URLs. Address the 2nd URL by typing * (asterix) right after the code. Like this:
yt* ebay* | goes straight to YouTube.com goes straight to eBay.com |
All Sugarcodes 2nd URLs are set to go straight to main page! |
